.ZACK: Why Be Jewish? Premiere with Brothers Lazaroff and STL-Style

  • .ZACK 3224 Locust Street St. Louis, MO, 63103 United States (map)

The Jewish Light is premiering its new video series, “Why Be Jewish?", and we want you not only to see it — we think it’s pretty compelling — but also to become part of it by adding your own answers to that question.

Brothers Lazaroff will kick off the festivities with their unique blend of rock, jazz and psychedelic Americana. (They have an affinity for klezmer music, too, as seen at the annual Hanukkah Hullabaloo.)

The FREE event will also feature a reception, cash bar and pop-up shop from STL-Style, which is owned by two “Why Be Jewish?” interviewees: the Vines brothers.

Then there is the main event: a dozen short vignettes (three to five minutes in length) featuring St. Louis Jewish millennials of different backgrounds and lifestyles, discussing their connection to Judaism.

Following the screening, we want to hear from you what it means to be Jewish in America today.

And it all takes place at the .ZACK, one of the sleekest event spaces in St. Louis.

Please let us know if you're going and RSVP to

Brothers Lazaroff. Vines brothers. .ZACK. Food and drink. “Why Be Jewish?” You. And it’s free!
